At Western Hills Church, we believe every child deserves a championship sports experience. Designed to promote skill development, sportsmanship, and self-esteem, our Upward Sports program in Topeka, KS, is structured to ensure that every child, regardless of experience level, has the opportunity to play and grow. Our program offers a positive and inclusive environment for kids and their families.
Upward Basketball & Cheer
Ages: K-5 to 6th Grade
Evaluations (Choose One):
- Tuesday, November 10 | K5-6th Grade | 6–8 PM
- Saturday, November 14 | K5-6th Grade | 9–11 AM
Practices Start: Week of Nov 30

Upward Soccer
Dear Upward Soccer Families,
It’s with a heavy heart that I must announce Western Hills Church will not be running a fall Upward Soccer program. The most significant reason is that we have been unable to find a Soccer Commissioner for future seasons.
As you know, Upward Soccer relies on hundreds of volunteers, from coaches, assistant coaches, referees, concession stand workers, building cleaners, mowers, to field painters. It takes a small army to ensure a successful Upward Soccer Season. The key leader in all of that chaos is our Soccer Commissioner.
