The Prodigal God

One son kept the rule religiously. One son broke them all. Their father loved them both beyond anything they could ever imagine. We know it as “The Prodigal Son,” but that title doesn’t do the story justice.
We assume the word prodigal means wayward or rebellious because of the heading above the parable. But the word prodigal actually means extravagant or excessive. It’s a beautiful way to describe God’s extravagant love and excessive grace.
This four-part series will take us on a deep dive into the parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15. We’ll explore the avenue through which the Father continues to display His extravagant love and excessive grace on earth: the church on earth. If you’ve ever wondered how a unique, gospel-centered community is formed, come listen to the story of The Prodigal God.

We have 3 service options: Sunday at 9:00 (kids programming available), Sunday at 10:30 (nursery available for newborn to age 2) or online Sunday at either time, streaming here on Facebook Live or here on YouTube Live.

Come and worship with us!
